Tha Presentation of Ytoya Academy Certificates.

Mrs Price's large music hall was well filled last (Friday) evening on the occasion of the presentation of Royal Academy certificates, over a hundred friends having responded to the invitations to be present. ■ The studio was tastefully decorated for the occasion. Mr Cecil Wray, local secretary for the Academy, presided, and presented the certificates, but before doing so the following musical programme was rendered, the various items being enthusiastically received:— Pianoforte 1 quartette, "L'lnvitation a la Valse" (Weber), Misses Evelyn,' Claudia, and Violet Price and Mibs .Lulu Ball; violin solo, "Rondo," from one of -Beethoven's sonatas, Miss Lulu Burnet; song, "Dawn Gentle Flower 1 ' (Bennet), Miss Claudia Price; violin duet, "Berceuse" (Poussard), Misses Violet Price and Una'Garlick; song, "The Doctor" (Piccolomini); Mr Basil Taylor (encored); pianoforte solo, "Valse" (Hoffman), Miss' Lulu Ball; violin scolo,»"Canzona" (Souret), Miss Claudia Price (encored); pianoforte solo, "Nocturne" (Chopin), Miss Violet Price; vocal duet, "Nocturne" (Denza), Misses Claudia and Violet Price; song, "Song for Twilight" (Cowen), Miss Violet, Price. An enjoyable concert , concluded with the National Anthem.
