A. Chinaman Tries to Drown Himself. (Per United Press Association.} ; AUCKLAND, November 25. A Chinaman named Ah Chong was ; . found on the beach at daylight yesterday. . , Asked how he cot there, he said: , "Me come 3 o'clock; likee dlown my- ' myself." He had jumped down a cliff 40ft , high. The tide was out, and he landed on the beach. He was shaken and , bruised, and was taken to the Hospital, 1 where he is recovering. ( .. "1
