King ' Edward and the Kaiser sent messages warmly condoling with Count Hatzfeldt's relatives. • Lord Salisbury declared that Germany had lost a most valuable servant, I'iid England a most sincere friend in the death of Count Hatzfeldt (German Ambassador in England).
