A good entry of useful sheep sold readily at advanced rates. Unsatisfied inquiries for hoggets and wethers still continue. - . , For pigs a moderate inquiry existed, those forward being disposed of at rather under than over late rates. Springing heifers, £4 10s to £5 2s 6d; later sorts*^3 10s to yearling heifers, £2 2s 6d; 18 months ditto XI 11s; 20 months steers, £3 Us bo; * year ditto, £3 16s; milch cows JE6. Fresh wethers, 14s lid; hoggets, 14?; smaller sorts (mixed sexes) 9s lOd to 10s 6d.
