EDUCATIONAL.
The Minister for Education announced to a Canterbury deputation yesterday that the Government eduactdon Bcheme, whiob. would be submitted shortly, will provide for the adequate training of teachers as well as for the uniformity of salaries, and that in order to prevent any inconvenience during the period necessary for tho establishment of the scheme, the two normal schoolß of Christchurch and Dunedin vould be adequately helped.
