Tho British casualties at Yentersprnit on Saturday, when Generals Warren and Clery pushed the Boers back on their main lines, include 11 officers and 279 men wounded. Few Britishers were killed during this part of the advance . CAPETOWN, January 23. Tho Boors have decided to plaae Cape diloyalists in the forefront at Burgersdorp and Stormborg, where further fighting is expected, because thoy preferred ambulance woik to fighting. |
