A» the first old ago pension year will soon close, those who wish to renew should do so at once It is necessary tor the pensioner within seventeen days of the porrespondjng date upon winch the pension, was originally granted to obtain and send to the Regi&tray of his district au income and property statement for the ensuing year. When these state-
ments aie sent in tbe Stipendiary Magistrate will investigate them and ascertain whether the conditions of Section 8 of the Old Agp Pensions Act, 1898, have been complied with and on Doing aatisiied that the statements are correct, will certify the sin.c tn the Deputy Frgistrar, who \ri.l issue to the pensioners affected,, pension certißcates in accordance with such statements to which they aro entitled . Neglect to render such statements will subject the pensioners to loss of pension for the ensuing year.
