LONDON MARKETS.
(By Electric Telegraph— Copyright.) (Per United Press Association.) LONDON, January 20. The wheat market is dull and has a downward tendehcy. American markets are a shade firmer. Australian, off coast, is offering at 295, January and February shipments 2D& fld. Copper is firm. Sugar is firm. German 9s Gd, Java 11s 9d. The Bradfoid market is lifeless. No quotations are obtainable. At the wool sales the Keri clip realised 13|d, Tuki Tuki lOJd, half 35Jd. Tho sale is dragging. Merinos aro 10 per cent below the December rates. Butter is flat owing to heavy arrivals. Colonial 95s to 98s, occasional lots 100 a; Danish, 108s to 110s. Cheese is firm. N.Z. 57s to 595 ; Victorian fair and of somewhat irregular quality sh. Pric»s are abnormally high owing to the scarcit v of Canadian Bupphes. Rabbits are Sull at BJd to dd. English are plentiful.
