For Napier and intermediate offices, daily at 6 a.m. and 12.10 p.m. For New Plymouth and intermediate offices, daily at 7 a.m., 3.30 p.m , Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 2 30 p.m. For Wellington and intermediate offices, daily at 6 a.m., 12.10 and 4.10 p.m. For Auckland, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 2.30 p.m. Tho rate for parcels to Canada is now one shilling per lb. The Waiwera leaves Wellington for for South Africa on the 20th inst. The Moravian will leave Melbourne on the 24th of January for Natal and Capetown. .. Mails lor Noumea and Fiji close at Sydney ou the 25th insfc. Tasmania having agreed to revert to the old book post rates, instructions lately issued have been cancelled, and the rates remain as s>hown iv the Postal Guide. Book post rates for Tasmania are now the samo as that for Queensland for any weight not exceeding 6oz, 3d; every additioual 2oz or fraction thereof Id.
