The Tyser liner steamer Star of Victoria, 3210 tons, Captain Hart (in the roadstead). ThcManaroa sailed at noon to-day with a good number of passengers who intend witnessing the "send off" to New Zealand's secoiul contingent for the Transvaal. The Stounbird arrived from Wellington this morning and sails on her return to-night. The Glenelg arrived from Onehunga at midnight lftst night, and leaves on her return to-ivght at 11 o'clock. The II ma left Foxton this morning for this port at 11 40. The Moa left Westport for Wanganui at 11.50 this morning and should arrive to-morrow afternoon. She leaves for the West Co*st on Tuesday. The Oreti arrived at 11 this morning from New Plymoath, and sails for Greymouth to morrow night. Captain Wood, of the Stormbird, and J&rtnan, of the Moa, have exchanged vessels, and Captain Chambers will rejoin the Stormbird in a few weeks. The last trip of the Huddart-Parker Company's steamer Zealandia from Wellington to Sydney was rather a smart one, tho distance being covered in three dayß sixteen hours. During the run across a concert was held in the dining saloon, and a collection was made on behalf of the Patriotic Fund, the sum of £4 2a 6d being realised. The proceeds oi two concerts, held on the outward trip in aid of the fund 3of the National Shipwreck Belief Society of New South Wales amounted to £618s.
