ANOTHER DEATH UNDER CHLOROFORM.

(Pet United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Januaiy 18. A sad affair happened to-day on tho premises ot Mr George P. Murray, dentist, of Upper Symonds Street, where Mis Mary Brown, wife of Mr P. W. Brown, farmer, of M.\takana, met her iteath under chlorofuim while having teeth eKlratted. Mrs Brown intended to ha\e most of her teeth extracted. After about balf-d-do^en stumps were extracted by Mr Murray, something went wrong and the patient collapsed. Dr Parkes, who had pre\io\isly administered the chloroform to the patient, tried every possible means to restore animation, but they failed. The deceased, who was 20 years old, leaves two children.
