WANGANUI'S SPECIAL CONTINGENT.
Mr Palmer, of Westmere, yesterday - presonted a horse for the Special Wanganui Contingent. The animal has been duly passed by the Inspector and accepted. Mr A. Dalziel, of Hunterville, . has also presented a horse. Messrs Hermann, Chavannes, and A. Atkins have each contributed J65- the crew of the Wairere, £A\ C. A. Dunn (per Air Gatenny), £2 2s.
