LEAGUE OF WHEELMEN.

A meeting of the Wanganui Centre of the League of New Zealand Wheelmen was held last night. Present—-Messrs M'Naught (chair), Tuck, -Remington, James, and the secretary. Mr R. G. M'Nnen was elected to represent the Manawatu Club, and took his seat. Mr J. Coombe, consul at Feilding, forwarded his report of the Boxing Day -ueeting, and a vote of thanks was passed to him. The Chief Consul's report of the Wanganui BicyJe Club's Boxing Day Meeting, also New Plymouth Carnival Committee's Meeting, held at that place on tho 29th December, were also read. A rider was charged with using abusive language towards an official at the New Plymouth Meeting. On being brought before the Executivo he expressed regret for his conduct, and tendered an apology.
