At a meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council a telegram was lead from — ajor Wardill, stating that the Victoiiau team would leave Sydney by tho Mararoa on February 7th. Telegrams and letters were received from the Wellington, Canterbury Ota.«o, Wanganui, and Auckland Associations guarantee-ing £50 each. Hawke's Bay wrote regretting that it could duly guarantee but hoped iv match would bo arranged. Tbe Auckland guarantee was given conditionally on Satuiday being included in tho dates for Auckland. Match dates and itinerary of the tour of the Victorians were, discussed, and before making final arrangements it was decided to cable Major Wardill asking when the team returns to Australia. Mchsis Tapper, Raphael, and Wauklyn ■ncre appointed a sub-committee to arrange a programme of matches and report to a meeting to be held on Saturday.
