The rate for parcels to Canada is now one shilling per lb. The Waiwera leaves Wellington for for Sonth Africa on the 20th mat. Tbe Moravian will leave Melbourne on the 24th of Jannary for Natal and CapeMaila for Noumea and Fiji close at Sydney on the 25th inst. Tasmania having agraed to revert to the old book post rates, instructions lately issued have been cancelled, and the rates remain as shown in the Postal Guide. Book post rates for Tasmania are now the same as that for Queensland for any weight not exceeding 6oz, 3d; every additioual 2oz or fraction thereof Id.
