NOTES BY "JACK."

The following is the drawing in tho next round for tho Senior Bowls in connection with the W.B.C. — Moult plays M'Farlane, Armstrong plays Ross. Junior Bowls — Ashton plays Bindon, Loraax a bye. Pairs — M'Farlane and Sherriff play Purnell and Fountain, Ross and Stednian play Chavaimes and Thomson, Perrett and Bridge play Dickson and Loinax, Bennio and Hatherly play May and Tuck, Notman and Weeks or Foster mid iu'Carthy a bye. Those members wishing to visit Waverley on the 22nd are requested to place their names on tho boaid in the Club's pavilion, Members of the Wauganui B.C. always remember the hearty manner in which the Aucklanders have attended here when any matches were in progress in which they might participate, and therefore it would be but a graceful act on the part of our local bowleis to send at least two teams to the Northern City 1 to participate in the New Zealand Bowling Tournament to be held, commencing on the 29th of this mouth. This is simply a matter of reciprocity, but there are many of our members here who could willingly afford the time to make up two really good rinks, and thus make another bold bid for the recovery of "that banner" wrested from us at Palmerston. I hope to hear within the next day or so that the two teams from the W.B.C. havo been formed, and that there will be proper representation, at what will ho undoubtedly" a most enjoyable tournament. Mr Rodwell will be pleased to receive the names of those willing to represent the Club, or the names may be placed on tho blackboard at the pavilion.
