A WOMAN MANGLED BY A TRAIN.
A shocking fatality occurred on the railway line near Lochinvar (Sew South Wales) on December 29. As the Taniworth pxpiesa was approaching, the wife of a settler named Maikham, w^o ,«.t« as gate-keeper, saw one ot her chiluivn on the line, and rushed out to save it. Sho was strnck down by tho tram, and cut to pieces, her mangled body being picked up and bionglit to Maitlnud. The child escaped injury.
