THE "SEND-OFF" AT WELLINGTON
(Per United Press Association.) WLLLINGTON, January 16. At a meeting of tho Demonstration Committee this morning ifc was decided to have the "send-oft" to the contingent at tho junction of Jervois Quay and Cuba Street.
WELLINGTON, January 16. The Agent-General wires the Premier, under date London 15 — Correspondent's messages published rumours of a forward movement of General Buller, but no authentic information has been received.
