CANADA'S LOYALTY.
Canada is badly attacked by the war fever. The students of the M'Gill University at Montreal recently took part" in a patriotic demonstration. Several thousands of them, including students of all the faculties, attended the performance at the Academy of Music. They " had an effigy of President 'Kruger, and during the performance they lowered the effigy from the top gallery with a rope round Kruger's neck, and followea the incident up with the singing- , of "Rule Britannia" and other patriotic airs, and Kruger was afterwards burned in effigy amidst great enthusiasm.
