CYCLING.
Tho Wanganui Bicycle Club aro to the fore, as usual, with a very handsomo poster, advertising their 9th November Meeting. Tho centre is occupied very appropriately by photo blocks of the committees of the old Clubs, very clear and cleanly printed. All the available epace is well taken up "booming" the principle events' in the splendid programme, and casually advancing cogent an,d numerous reasons why the public who appreciate a good day's sport should not fail to bo present and help tho Club to keep up the enviable reputation that the Wnnganuites have earned as being one of the leading Sporting towns in the colony. The poster was printed by the "Herald 1111 11, 1 jobbing department. Tho secretary continues to receive communications from leading cyclists and athletes notifying their intention of being' present on the 9th. Tho Wanganui Bicycle Club Committee meets on Tuesday evening at the usual time and place. A lot of important business will bo transacted, including tho appointing of officials for 9lh No.vember and the arranging of the Boxing Day programme. The Wanganui "Centre" will also meet on the same e\ wring.
