(sk)l7 Benefield (sk) 28 Tho visitors were entertained at luncheon in the club's spacious refreshmentroom, and the caterer, Mr W. 8. Dustin, as- usual, gave every satisfaction. Dr Hatherly welcomed the Waverley players in a happily-worded speech, to which Mr J. Muir responded, cheers being .given for both club 3, after which the visitors left by train. Mr F. M. Spurdle, president of the club, was unable to be present to receive tho visitors, through an accident confining him to the house. The travelling public who visit Palmerston North should nmko a point of interviewing M. Hogan at the Railway Hotel, where they are assured of a hearty welcome and the best of accommodation The Railway has recently been renovated from floor to ceiling, and is now in every way adequate to the requirements of those desirous of participating in the comforts of a first-olass hotel. The Railway Hotel is close to the station; a porter is always at command, and meals are supplied to suit the convenience of railway travellers.* Aovr.
