The P. aud O. steamer China struck on Thursday evening during a thick haze. The mails and specie were saved. The steamer Carthage proceeded from Aden and will convey tho China's passengors to European ports. Tugs, lighters, and Government steamers have been sont from Aden to the assistance of the stranded vossel. The foreholdq are full of water, but the flooding of tho other portions of the steamer has been prevented by her watertight compartments. Thero are hopes of saving the vessel if the weather improves.
