Opening of mc new Economic Show Room. — Very great interest has been aroused as to when Messrs George aud Kersley will give the public an opportunity df inspecting the extensive alterations they have been hiakiug in their new pre mis'es. They now state that on Wednesday next they will hold their first grand show 'of novelties. T,he show will be preceded on Tuesday evening by a musical promende, when the entire warehouse will bo thrown open for iuspection, an additional attraotion to the occasion being lent by the presence of the Garrison Baud, who will perform a choice selection of instrumental musio, thus providing not only a feabt of dainty colouisfor tho eye, but also of delightful musio for the ear. The premises will be closed at 6 p.m. on Tuesday and re-opened at 7.30 and 9.30 p.m. Not the least important fact for ladies to noto is that every article is marked at exactly the same cash prices as are charged at our Wellington establishment, no additional charge being made for the cost of carriage, thus bringing the choice and value of Wellington goods to the doors of oustomors here. — Advt.
