Wanganui v. United.

Representatives from the above oluba tried conclusions in Cook's Gardens on Satnrday, and an interesting contest resulted in a draw. The Uniteds were the first to bat and compiled 83, the double figure scorers being Stewart 20, Lowe 13, and Haldane and Walker 10 each. With the loss of six wiokets for 36, the game looked like a victory for the, United^, but Francis and Watt saved defeat, the former having 23 to his credit and the latter 17 not out.
