The second day of the League of Wheelman's Championship Meeting was not favouied with good weather, a cold southwest wind was blowing, with showers of rain, The attendance was good and tho lacing excellent. Mile Amatkui - Championship : White (Dunedin) 1, Simpson (Southland) 2, Lloyd (Canterbuary) 3. Won by 4 yards. Time lmm 38secs. 5-Mirx Aihteui! Championship : White 1, Lloyd 2, H. Thompson 3. Won by half a wheel. Time, 13min 28sec. 3-Mir,E Amati-.ch Hinpicsp : Crow, 280ydB, 1; Morgan 280 yds, 2; K. Melville, 200 yds, 3. Won by 3 yards. Time, Bmin 19sec. Mile Cash Championship : G. Sutherland 1, E. Reynolds 2, Walker 3. Won by two feet. Time, 2min 29sec. 5 Mile Cash Championship : G. Sutherland 1, Ralston 2, Wall 3. Barker was the only other to finish. Won by 30 yards. Time, 12min 30sec. 2 Mils Cash Handicap: Chalmers, 230 yds, 1; Stewart, 260 yds, 2; Graham, 510 yds, 3. Won by 10yds. Time, smin 18 2-sth sec. 5 Mile Eni-ield Challenge Cup valu6 75 soys ; first prize £10, second £4, third £1 : G. Sutherland 1, Reynolds 2, Ralston 3. Only by 10yds after a fine finish. Time 12mm 52sec. Sutherland and White, the cash and amateur champions, only went once round for a mile test and then retired.
