Mr E. Perrett's City Butchery Establishment.
Among3t other business improvements contemplated within tho next few weeks is the alteration of the premises at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Maria Place, recently in the occupation of Mr Hoinold. Mr Edwin Perrett, of the City Butchery, ha 3 given instructions to Mr T. H. James, architect, who has prepared plans for substantial additions and alteratious, fitting the premises for a general butchery business, inoluding the sale of small goods The alterations will consist obiefiy in enlarging the present shop, raising and extending tho present verandah, and tho fitting up of the interior, which will consist of office, salting room, cutting room, and another room containing boilers and smoker for tho preparation of small goods. The cutting room will contain a 1J h.p. Otto gas engine, to drive the necessary machinery utilised in the trade. Tenders for the work are advertised in another column.
