Stdney, March 24* The following are the principal averagesfor tho season's first-class matches : — Batting -Hill 66-54, Ranji 60-57, MoLaren 54"57, Darling 5120. Hill compiled 1196 runs ; Banji 1151, McLaren 1037. Bowling — Newell heads the list with 18-36, Boche 20.72, Jones 21-71, Trumblo 22-50, Noble 23.10. Mason is at the head of the English contingent with 25-15> Hearne 27-55, Richardson 30-59, Hirst is the last on the list, with 52.69.
