Steadiness and Dash Displayed by the
Egyptian Cavalry.
(By Electric Telegraph — Copyright.) (Per United Press Association.) (Received March 25, at 9.10 a.m.) London, March 24. The Dervish force under Mahmud comprises two thousand cavalry .eight thousand rifles, with seven camion. The remainder of the enemy consists of swordsmen and
spearmen. Brigadier-General Lowis's brigade has advanced upon Abadnr, The Dervishes are concentrating upon Umdebia. In tho attack upon the Dervish horsemen, the Egyptian cavalry displayed steadiness and dash.
