Napier, March 23. The weather was again fine for the se'eond day' 3 Park races. The attendance was large. Barbarossa* fell in the Trial Hurdles, rolling oh his'jookey, Mitohell, who had his collar bone broken. ,He was taken to the hospital in an unconscious condition. The amount passed through the machine for the two days Vas £10,820, showing a considerable falling off from last year. The following are the results : — ' TitiAi Hurdles : Opai 1, Blackberry 2, Gorse 3. BarbarOssa fell at the fourth hurdle. Won easily by two lengths. Time, 2min 54 l-sth sec. Dividend, £2. Hurry Scurkt: Nansen 1, Dottrell 2, Katoomba 3. Gold Cup and Miss Faulknor alao started. Won without the whip by two lengths. Time, lmin 16 2-sth seo. Dividend, £5165. Two-Year-Old Handicap : Dasher 1, Scotia 2, Tigress 3. Victoria Cross also ran. Won by a length. Time lmin 16 4-3 th sec. Dividend £6 10s. City Stakes Handicap: Tirantd'Eau t, Woodstosk fi Martydom 3, Seven started. Neck-and-neck race all the way up the straight, resulting in a dead heat.
