The second innings of the Englishmen closed for 399, which left the' South Australians 355 to make to make to win. They rattled up 267 before stumps were drawn for the loss of only two wiokets, but as the Englishmen are to, leave for Home to-morrow the match was declared a draw. At Marton yesterday the match, butchers and bakers v. tailors and grocers, resulted in a win for the former by 24 runs. The scores ,were 110 and 86. A match will be played on Cook's Gardens on Saturday afternoon, commencing at 2 o'clock sharp, hetween tho Wanganui and United Clubs. The teams will be the same as published last week, excepting that Coe takes Hewlett's place in the United team.
