Wanganui y. WaYeriey To-morrow.
The three-rink match between the Wanganui and Waverley Bowling Clubs will be played on the local green to-morrow, and with the beautiful weather prevailing is sure to prove mos>l enjoyable. As previously announced, the visitors will arrive by the 11.30 train and will be escorted to the green, after which they will be entertained at luncheon at Chavannes'. The game will commence at one o'clook sharp, so as to enable the Waverley players to leave by the four ofelook train. Up to the hour of going to press the names of the visiting players were not to hand. The following, chosen by the Match Committee, will represent Wanganui : — No. 1 Sink— Rodwell (skip), Stedmau, Thomson, Greig. No. 2 Eras.— Perrett (skip), Stewart, Hodren, Bridge. No. 3 Rink— Bennie (skip), Hatheily, Neweombe, Grnham. Rodwell plays Balfour at No. 1 Rink, Ponett plays MoFarlane at No. 2, and Bonnie plays Mnir at No. 3. Afternoon tea will be provided, and visitors are cordially invited.
