Anniversary Tea Meeting.

The anniversary celebrations in connection with tho Trinity Wesloyan Sunday School were continued Inst evening, when a tea meeting was held in the schoolroom. There was a large attendance, the young people in particular boing in ovidence. The tables, tastefully laid out and bounti fully supplied with appotising viands were piobidcd over by tho following ladios : — No 1, Miss Hicks ; No 2, Miss Gilberd ; No It Miss Bond ; No 4, Miss M. Spurdle, assisted by Miss F. Bassett ; No 3, Miss Clayton, assisted by Miss. Gordon; No 6, Miss Tingey, assisted by Missoj Harvoy and Neilson ; No 7, Mrs Arthur, assisted by tho Misses Arthur; No 8, Misses Arthur and Tarrant ; No 9, Misses Beavon ; No 10, Misses S. Andrew and L. Jones ; No 11, Misb Hislop, assisted by Miss F. Johns ; No 12, Miss Bird, assisted by Miss E. Bird. After toa an enjoyable meoting was held in the church, probided over by tho snperintendant of the school, Mr J. B. Johns. A number of appropriate hymns specially selected for the anniveisary wore sung, and interesting addresses wore delivered by tho Boys H. Peters, B M. Ryburn and G. Bond. Mr Peters urged the children to cultivate tho spirit of contentment, Mr Itybnrn duelton the fact that every little child had a purposo in life and "should help to ptoduco fimt, and Mr Bond showed how tho children could brighten all their surroundings. The report biased that the number of scholars on tho roll had increased dm ing tho year from 241 to 251, the average attendance being 170. There wore 22 teachers and office-bearers. Keforenco was made to the flourishing condition of tho young men's class, the Band of Hope, and senior and junior Christian Endeavour Societies, and to the interest displayed by young and old in the Bey G. Bond's monthly object lessons. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded all thoso who had assisted at tho anniversary celebrations, paitioular mention being made of the conductor (Mr W. H. Bird), the orchestra and the ladies presiding »t the tea tables.
