The Jubilee Meeting of the above Club commences to-morrow and will be brought to a close on Saturday. At the time of writing the final payments for the Cup had not appeared, but there is every prospect of a good field going to the post. In this event St Paul has incurred a 51b penalty, which brings his impost up lo lOst 31b. The other roce3 on the programme have received very good acceptances, and altogether bear a decidedly open appearance. " Champagne Stakes : Conqueior 1, Djin Pjin 2, Altair 3. v Cdp : St Paul 1, Antares 2, Pitch and Toss 3. PnnLiCANfl' Handicap ; Vanilla 1, Bracelet 2, Belle Clair 3. Stewards' Purse : Double Event 1, Remorse 11., Marlin 3. reported that Vedette had a rather bad time of it on the passage across to Sydney, where he has gone to fill an engagement in the Doncaster Handicap, to be run on the 9th April. It is said that it is possible the horse will not start for that event unless he is greatly improved before the date of the meeting.
