The Teams Match opened tho day's proceedings, and shooting was far from good. McFarlane of the winning team made the highest individual score, 94. The average of the winners is 81 4-sth points, while here in 1596 Woodville averaged 98 3-sth. The weather was chiefly the cause of the low average Teams' Match. Only a couple of shots were fired.

Mr F. G. Magnuson, late of Wanganui, died suddenly at his son's residence, Whakataki, near Masterton, last Thursday.
