The Waverley Sports.
(By Our Special— By Telegraph.) Waveiilei, March 17. A thunderstorm accompanied by rain and hail broke over Waverley this afternoon spoiling the sports. The attendance was good and the arrangements excellent. Southcombe won tho Hundred Yards, Irwin the Half-Mile, Burr the 220 Yards, Sheehan the High Jump, and Lyon the One and Three Mile bike races.
