Tho English wheat market is flat, Continental is advancing, ond«American is unchanged. Californian No. 1 milling, 365, Russian cargoes, 37s Cd; London quotation hard duluth, 425. The Bradford wool market is hardening. At to-day's auction kauri was in strong demand, 1515 cases are offering and 1093 were sold. Three-quarter scraped, 112s to 115s. The stock now consists of 543 cases. Butter is slow ; colonial 104s ; a few lots 106s ; Danish, 106s to 110s. Cheese is flat ; New Zealand, 89s. > Rabbits are quotod at firmer prices. Australian, lOd, with forward tendency. Frozen meat — Crossbred wethers, maiden ewes, Canterbury, 3jjd ; Dunedin and Southland, 3Jd ; North Island, 2 13-16 th d. Lamb— Prime Canterbury, sd ; fair average, inoluding Dnnedin, Soutliland, Wellington, and secondary Canterbury, 4f d ; River Plate, crossbred or merino wothers, heavy, 2jjd, light, 2Jd. National Bank shares, £2 ; Bank of New Zealand fours, 103 ; New Zealand Loan and Mercantile prior lien fours, 98. The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 3,280,000 quarters, and for the Continent 540,000.
