The .Wayerley Sports To-morrow.

(By " Victor.") The Waverley Athletic Club's annual sports take place to-morrow, and providdiug tbe weather is favourable the gathering should be a most successful and enjoyable one. The track has been greatly improved, I understand, and will be found in first-class order for both the cycling and running events, which promise to be very interesting indeed. Many of the best oyclists and runners of the North Island will be engaged, and some eiciting contests may be expected. The committee have done all in their power to moke the gathering a success and ensure the thorough enjoyment of those who attend this popular fixture. The Waitotara Native Brass Band will enliven the proceedings during the day with gome of their choicest selections. The first event starts at 11.30 a.m. sharp, and as there is a big programme to be got through, there will be plenty to engage attention throughout.
