KALGOORLIE MINERS IN REVOLT.
A Remarkable Scene.

There was a remaikablo scene in Kalgoorlie when two miners weie committed for contempt of Couit. The police scoured the district for the men without success. Then a force of over 2000 miners escorted them to Kalgoorlie from Ivanhoe. The base of the force swelled to 0000 when Kalgooilie was reached, and the police wore then afraid to arrest the men, fearing trouble ; but the demonstration was most orderly. The general opinion is that the Government has received its death blow as far as the goldfields are concerned for its attitude over the Ivanhoe affair.
