MEETING OF CABINET.
(Per United Press Association.) Welunoton, Maroh 11. The Cabinet has authorised votes of £3000 each for the Central, North and Otago linos ; £7000 to extend the Mapareo tramway ; £1000 to extend the St Bathan's draining race, repayable" in four instalments. It was decided to renew the bonuses on quioksilver and petroleum, and to send the scehery exhibits to Turin in accordance with the request of the Italian Censul, to increase the value of holdings under the Workmen's Village scheme from £150 to £300, and to refuse licences to houses at Opotome, Waikato, and Mangaweka.
