Dr Williams, of Fitzroy, injected what he supposed to be cocaine into a patient, Mrs Turner. Afterwards following his usual habit he injected his own arm. The doctor collapsed while driving home and died in a few hours, Mrs Turner is in a critical condition. It has been discovered that the chemist's assistant supplied Dr Williams with atrophine, a deadly poison, instead of cocaine.
