TRAGEDY IN QUEENSLAND.

A curieua tragedy is reported from Townsville, where Kirton, a chemist, and Martin, manager of the United Insuraaoe Company, were found d*ad in a bedroom over Kirton's shop. Kirton had a short time previously sent to a neighbouring chemist for some prosaic acid. The theory is that he gave his friend *v opiate, which acted fatally, and th»n, finding what he had done, poisoned himsslf.
