{Per United Press Aeiooiation,) Wellington, October 21, The Sort J. Bigg, M.L.0., has declined to stand for tha city. Mr W. Booth, of Carterton, and director of the Bank of New Zealand, i« mentioned aB a likely candidate for the city. A requisition is also to be presented to Mr J. J. K. Powell asking him to contest the seat, Mr T. L. Buicfr, M.H.E., member for Waitau, baa declined the request to contast the Wairarapa seat with. Mr W. C. Buchanan, the present member. Messrs Wilford and Baylist and Hon Mr Hislop are candidates already in the field for Wellington Buburbs. Dr Newman an d Mr H. A. Meld are out for Otaki.
