Ilia Korowhenua Commission was opened here at 11 o'clock, and sat for two hours, during which preliminaries were arranged as to tho ordor of proceeding, &.C. Sir W. Buller, aud SleesrS Monaou and Baldwin appeared ou behalf of various natives interested, and Alex JJcDonald haa been instructed by the Government to -watch the proceedings on behalf of the Muauwoko tribe not otherwise represented. The CommiS3ion adionrned until Tnefday morning next. The Connnisaion will sit continuously from thai date,
