Mr Wragge, the Queensland meteorologist, in a letter to the press with reference to tho proposed Antarctic expedition, states that the data obtained would be of the highest importance as bearing on meteorological problems affecting Australia, and that if seasonal forecasting '"s to be satisfactorily solved for Australia it can only ba done by means of complete discussion on the Antarctic factors aad their baarinj? on Australian seasons. He hopes that the colonies will moat cordially assist the proposal.
