It was rewired that he be granted £5. < Mr Bobinioa, on behalf of MetsrsißlUs and Bobinson, waited on the Board with reference to the destruction of their fences on the Mangamahu Valley Boad by the Board's contractors. Mr Bobinsoa ,-said he considered that the Board woie> responsible for any damage dona to their 'property, and that under the Public Works Aotthe Board were bound on entering a paddock to fenoe the road line. He had po wish to put the Board or himself to any 1 unnecessary expense in tht- matter; and was willing that the 'question shooldbe referred to some person to be agreed «n for settlement, aud suggested Mr Q. Hutchison.
