Ih»- minutes of, the last meeting wen read and confirmed, Mr Stanley waited on the Board re bonus on his contracts No. 11 and 12, Mangamahu Taller Boad. It was rewired that he be granted £5. < Mr Bobinioa, on behalf of MetsrsißlUs and Bobinson, waited on the Board with reference to the destruction of their fences on the Mangamahu Valley Boad by the Board's contractors. Mr Bobinsoa ,-said he considered that the Board woie> responsible for any damage dona to their 'property, and that under the Public Works Aotthe Board were bound on entering a paddock to fenoe the road line. He had po wish to put the Board or himself to any 1 unnecessary expense in tht- matter; and was willing that the 'question shooldbe referred to some person to be agreed «n for settlement, aud suggested Mr Q. Hutchison.
