A PIMLICO LOVE TRAGEDY.

Hi* fiancee wrote him a number of letters complaining of his prolonged abience, and in ond she stated that she had consulted a fortune-teller, who told her that Mr Lilly was " flirting in London with a fair-balred lady, .if, indeed, it was not something more than a flirtation." It appeared from the evidenoe at the inquest that since tho beginning of December, Mr Lilly had been liriue with a woman, named Stella Scott, that he had latterly failed to pay the landlady's bill, and that his companion has pawned her clothing to find the necessary fand*. She also supplied Lilly with money, whioh he epent on absinthe and liqueurs, coming home half mad, and making so much noise that eke was frightened. She threatened to take away his Key of the rooms, and thereupon he took poiion. Mis* Scott, a showy blonde, laid she had had no quarrel with Mr Lilly, but about a month ago. when he had a lot of money, the was annoyed that be would not give her any for ths landlady. She was downstairi with the landlady when he took the poison. Mr Arthur Oatt, architect, of Hillside, Grove Park, Lee, Kent, gave evidence of identification. Mr Lilly was bis brother-in-law, but he had not seen him for three years. Tha jury returned a verdict of "Suicide during temporary insanity." ___________
