Bbor, Bangipsi, Natatorial, Prospec , and Oakland* also started. Won by two length*. Time, 4min 22i00. Div, £3 4i. Hack Hurdles— Coneoript 1, Nugget 2, Leander 3. Tangaroa, Juanita, and Merman 11. alio ran, the latter falling. Won by half a length. Tims, Sasin Sljieo. Div, US 17*. Trial Steeplechase— Molly Hawk 1, Spreydon 2, Langley the Devil 3. Egmont, Kaffir, and Eiora, also started. Langlsy the Devil and Spreydon refused, but made np the lost erouno very fast. Time, 4min 55£ i «co. Div, £6 18*. ' First Hack Flat— Man-o-war, 7st 81b, 1 ; Ascot Vale, Bst 61b, 2; Starlight, Bst 31b, 8. Hark, Nugget, Disraeli, Clayton, and Clematis, also started. Won by half a head. At 2 o'elook the weather had oleared beautifully, but the going is very heavy. Time, 2min 68100. Dividend, £6 4*. Egmont Steeplechase— Roeoius (12.8) 1, Bootle* (10.6) 2, Raven (9.8) 8. Union Jack, Parnell, and Austral also started. Union Jack fell during the second round, and Parnell and Austral baulked. Raven and Booties fell at ths last jump when the latter was leading. Booties was remounted by J. Sussell, and beat Raven f or sscond place. Time, 7min 81 8-sth soc. Dividend, £S Si.
