Description — Ia all nominations description, age, and pedigrees of horses must be given, together with colours of riders. Dates— The Committee reserve the right to alter any of the above dates. The advertised fees must in every case accompany nominations and acceptances. Rules — AU races to be run under the Wanganui Jockey Club Rules of Racing. Nominations for all handicap events, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 10, close with the secretary on Saturday, January 26th, at 9 p.m., and the same must be accompanied with the necessary cash ; stamps not receivable where P.O. Orders obtainable. Nominations for all Bicycle events to state maker, number, style, weight, year, and full particulars of machine, The spoits will be run as far as possible under the rules of the Wanganui Caledonian Society. Competitors must forward with nominations all performances for tho past two years ; if none during that period, then last three performances to he given. No assumed names names will be allowed, and competitors must disclose, at time of entry, all assumed names under which they have ever competed, under penalty of disqualification. Handicaps will be declared on Friday Ist February. Acceptances, except for post entry events, to ho paid not later than 11 a.m. on the day of the sportß. Competitors will not bo allowed to run except in proper costume. Protests nmst be in writing, and lodged iv the hands of the secsetary within 15 minutes of the declaiation of the judge's decision. Each protest must bo accompanied with a deposit of 10s, which sum shall be forfeited if the pioteat bo deemed frivolous by the committee, whose decision shall he final. No first prize will he given for any event unless theie are tlneo competitors ; no second prize unless theie are four competitors ; and no third prize unless there are six competitors.
