CORRESPONDENCE.
Stray Horses-
Sib, — Would you allow me to draw the attention of the ChaiKsan of the Purua Road Board to the laxity of the ranger in allowing the streets of Durietown to be turned into » public grazing ground. Atany time of tho day or night may bo seen, from six to a dozen horses grazing on the road Bides, waiting a chance of some garden: gate being left open, and in they go. Thesewandering animals have broken down the, wive fence above the steps, and if it is not' attended to at once someone will come a*. cropper. I trust the worthy Chairman, will give this matter his business liko attention, and the ratepayers will — shout foe him. — I am, etc , Pcjbtta.
