Tho sale nns hold, by tho kindnc» of Messrs P.R Jackson and Co ,in tho spacious auction mart used by that firm. Tho day boing the usual siilo da} ot Messrs &tovens mid Gorton, tho attendance was numerous. Colonel Gorton, with his usual courtesy, announced at tho commencement of the stock balo that (he sale of land, fixed for 2 o'clock, would be adioiunod until 2.30. 80 as to tako plaoo immediately after tbo ordinary salo. Shortly after the time announced Mr Barua got toworlt.andsuccoodi-diudispoßingof eight Sections of tbo aggregate area of IGI7 acres.
